  • Dr.
    Sarah Stewart-Bailey
    Veterinarian

    Hometown Princeton, In.  PCHS Graduate 1998, Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine Graduate 2005.  Sarah's goal has always been to start her own veterinary practice which she did when she founded County Seat Veterinary Hospital in April 2008!  She is now in the new clinic of her dreams!  She grew up raising cattle, sheep and chickens on a farm west of Princeton.  Her focus now is small animal medicine, dentistry and surgery.  Dr. Sarah's pets are four dogs: Pete, Merle, Sonny, and Zeke and  cats: Christy and Opie at home, Jeffery, Sister, and Paisley at the clinic.  Miss Allison the Aussie spends her time between the clinic and at home with one of our great clients.   Dr. Sarah enjoys spending time with her daughter Gracie and her mom at the family farm.  They enjoy outdoor time taking care of the animals and swimming, as well as yard work.

    Kayla Lichlyter
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Kayla joined our clinic in April 2019.  We are so happy she is with us!  Dr. Kayla lives on a farm with her husband and three children.  They have 3 dogs:  Finley the Catahoula hound, Lou the Catahoula, and Rudy a terrier mix.  She has a cat named Clove, along with a barn full of pigs and goats.  Dr. Kayla's favorite part of her job here at County Seat is the client-patient bond and being able to experience that  and having a hand in the care of all of our fabulous patients!  Away from work, Dr. Kayla raises and shows pigs.  She also enjoys watching movies, reading books and being outside.  She also enjoys hanging out with her husband and her son Asher, daughter Addi, and son Grady.

  • Kelly L
    Manager

    Kelly is the Practice manager.  She is a graduate of Murray State University and is a registered veterinary technician.  She lives near Oakland City with  husband Gary and son Seth.  She started bringing her pets to County Seat when they first opened in 2008, which is about when she moved to the area.  She has extensive technician experiences in many practices and also has teaching experience!  Her pets consist of 4 dogs - Mac the Aussie, Jack the lab, Kermit the whippet and Rickey the whippet, two cats Broadway and Dawn, along with 2 horses, 2 donkeys, numerous chickens and Archie the Peacock!  Kelly also enjoys many hobbies including therapy dogs, cooking, horseback riding, and camping with family and friends!

    Receptionist

    Kara is one of the smiling faces that you will see at our front desk.  She is always professional and will handle your questions with courtesy and efficiency and do her best to help you.  In her spare time she is 100% family oriented, spending her spare time vacationing, shopping, and playing with her grandsons.  Kara has a pack of dogs - Baxter, Chase, Big Dan and Little Ann, that keep her on her toes.  She is also owned by one cat, Baby Girl.  Kara's favorite part of her job is taking care of all of the great clients and their pets needs.

    Receptionist

    Carol joined our practice in July 2019 and we are so glad she did!  She is part of our fantastic receptionist team whose goal is to make our clients and patients visit as smooth as possible!  Carol has one dog named Stella and her favorite part of her job is interacting with the clients and their animals.  Away from the clinic, Carol enjoys spending time with her family, crafting with her friends and going to Princeton Community High School sporting events (Go Tigers!).

    Receptionist

    Betty is the newest of our front desk team!  She joined our practice in November 2019 and has fit right in!  Betty has three dogs - Reis, Roxie and Serene Mae.  Betty's favorite part of the job is the clients and their furbabies first and foremost, followed by the working relationship with all of the staff.  Betty's hobbies away from work include reading, gardening, and crafting.  Betty was a graduate of Indiana State University majoring in Elementary Education with a kindergarten endorsement.  She worked for Deaconess for 20 years, retiring from there in 2019.

    Receptionist

    Meet Dana - she is the newest member of our front desk team!  Dana and her family have one dog - Buddy.  Dana's favorite part of her job is interacting with all the people!  She also enjoys meeting all the dogs and cats!  Her hobbies away from the clinic include camping, Disney, scrapbooking, puzzles and softball.

  • Kerry T
    Veterinary Assistant

    Kerry joined our clinic July 2019.  Kerry and her husband have 4 dogs (Bailey Sue, Macie Grace, Phoebe Buffay, and Rubbie May) and 3 cats (Reecie Jo, Clover Paige and Violet Marie) along with 6 adult children.  Hobbies and interests away from work include Purdue football games (BOILER UP!!), camping, and spending time with her grandson.

  • Cierra M
    Veterinary Assistant

    Cierra has been with us since this past summer.  She has a husband and a super cute daughter who is a year old and also loves animals.  They have three dogs - Charlie (Pitbull), Meeko (Pitbull/lab) and Murray the Mighty Yorkie.  Cierra loves everything about her job and enjoys all of her fun co-workers!  She likes to interact with the clients and the patients and has enjoyed meeting them when they are in for their yearly vaccine appointments.  Cierra has had some schooling in the vet tech area and is eager to learn and help you with your pets!

  • Shaina W
    Veterinary Assistant

    Shaina has been with us since August 2019.  She has three dogs: Rocky, Babe, and Tubby, two cats: Scrappy and Onyo, and one fish - Survivor.  Shaina's favorite part of her job is loving on and caring for everybody's pets!  She also enjoys working with her awesome coworkers!  Away from the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets.  She can also be found working on the family hog farm.  During the fall she likes to watch lots of football - GO COLTS!!!!!

    Veterinary Assistant

    Laura joined our team in 2020.  She comes to us from Ahlfeld Veterinary Clinic along with many of our newest clients with the retirement of  Dr. Ahlfeld.   Laura and her family have two golden retrievers - Rey and Padme and one cat Darth Kitty.  Her favorite part of the job is helping our clients and their animals.  In her time away from the clinic, she enjoys training her dogs, creating stain glass projects, and camping with her family.  Laura has a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from Purdue and an Associates Degree in Agricultural Science from Vincennes University.  Welcome Laura!

    Veterinary Assistant

    Del has been with our clinic for almost a year now.  Del resides in Princeton with her husband, dog - Willis jammeson Rocketdog and cat Fred.  Her favorite part of the job is learning about animals, animal care, and cuddling with Golden Retriever puppies.  Did we mention she loves golden retriever puppies???  Del's hobbies include reading, cross stitch, church, spending time with family and hanging out at Indiana Dunes.

    Book keeper

    Ashly joined our staff in April.  She is learning the ropes as book keeper.  She lives in Princeton with her husband and her dog Nibbs.  Her hobbies include:  Reading, classic and old cars - she and her husband have a 55 Plymouth Plaza and 47 Chevy Stylemaster, Drive in movies, Walking, Fishing, Anything involving animals, Music, and Being with Friends and Family.

    Groomer

    Meet the Artist of our staff!  Savannah is our groomer and has been with us since June 2020.  She lives on a farm with her husband and two daughters.  She has three dogs: Remington, Emma and Bingo and two cats: Beatrice and Toothless.  Her hobbies include painting, farming, gardening and working out.
